Dua Lipa’s “Don’t Start Now” Reaches No. 2 on the UK Official Charts

Norwegian singer-songwriter Caroline Ailin, signed to Arctic Rights Management / BMG, has experienced huge success with her songwriting and penned hits for legendary artists around the globe. Her most iconic song to date is the Dua Lipa triumph “New Rules” that went to number 1 in the UK and dominated the charts internationally. In the last two years, a steady stream of Ailin co-writes have been recorded by some of the world’s most high-profile pop stars, including the super catchy “365” by Zedd x Katy Perry, which was released this Valentine’s Day and has achieved more than 62 million Spotify plays. “Mama”, one of the tracks on Clean Bandit’s second studio album, What Is Love (2019), gathered 40 million YouTube hits.

Now Ailin is back again with a brand new banger… with its catchy melody and disco vibe, “Don’t Start Now”, released last week by Dua Lipa, was written and produced by the same team as “New Rules”. It’s playful, it’s infectious and it’s off to a fantastic start having reached No.2 on the UK Official Charts and gathered substantial views on YouTube for its music video, directed by Nabil, shown below:
